As part of 81st anniversary celebrations of Indian Air Force, a
Trekking Expedition was organised at Air Force Station Udhampur from December 4 to 9.
Group Captain DP Hirani, Station Commander, Air Force Station Udhampur flagged off the expedition team on December 4. The expedition team, led by Flight Lieutenant Karan Tyagi consisted of a total of 15personnel. The team started from Dalhousie and trekked to DhyanKund (DK), Jot, Khajiar, Kalatop and returned to Air Force station Udhampur on 09 Dec 13. They were received by Station Commander, senior officers and other personnel of the station. All the personnel of the station agreed that this treeking expedition not only gave them opportunity to test their will power & stamina, but also to
work together as a cohesive & well-knit unit and nurture the qualities of the camaraderie & espirit de corps.
