Vegan protesters unapologetic for Melbourne's peak-hour chaos, abattoir blockades
In chaos roundly condemned by police and Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who called the protesters "green-collared criminals", more than 150 animal rights activists blocked a busy Melbourne intersection start at about 7 am on Monday.
