Why are Bangladeshi illegal immigrants being referred to as "Muslim settlers" by Indian media, making it sound as if they're Indians who moved to settle there? Which real Indian (Hindu or Muslim), in their right mind would want to settle down in protected Bodo tribal agencies, of all places? They're obviously Bangladeshi illegals, who are not entitled to even breathing air on Indian soil without a valid visa. Also, by inaccurately labeling them as "Muslim settlers," isn't the Indian press playing with fire? They make it appear as if they're Indian Muslims, who are being attacked in Assam, instigating communal discord elsewhere in the country?
