Three military personals onboard HAL Dhruv of Eucador Government were killed in a crash, The President's office of the country announced. The helicopter was reportedly on election duty, but was not assigned to transport President at any time.
According to AFP report, The helicopter was flying from Guayaquil to country's capital Quito. It went down in the Chimborazo region according to military spokesperson.

The pilot Fabian Pazos survived the crash and is currently in intensive care
