First Tejas fighter of the IAF's first Tejas squadron makes inaugural flight

1st October 2014 will go down in Indian military aviation history. This morning, the first Tejas light combat aircraft (LCA) built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on its production line in Bangalore successfully made its first flight. The aircraft is pictured above This is the first Tejas of the Indian Air Force's first Tejas squadron. The IAF currently has 20 Tejas fighters
